Today we read "The Goodnight Train" and the kids made a train with their names and painted the stars with marble painting.

Names! Names! Names!

 I am so excited and so proud of these kids!! When we first started practicing writing they were a little hesitant. Within just a short period of time they are all getting so good! They love to do it now and ask to erase it and start over a few times! I LOVE seeing them learn and feel confident!

 These folder games spell the kids name in upper and lower case letters so they will begin to recognize both capital and lower case letters that belong in their name and also the sequence.

 The kids can hardly wait til its their turn to spell their name on the iPad. It is a program called Osmo. When it is their turn it will show a picture of them and they spell their name with the tile letters. These are a few of the ways we have been working on letter recognition & learning their names.

Christmas

 We had a great time at our Christmas party! We had snow in the sensory bins & the kids loved to play with it! They all loved their little gifts too!
