Today was all about orange! We had orange colored rice in the sensory tubs. We read "It's An Orange Aardvark" and "Binki" The kids loved the orange aardvark who wore blue pajamas and carried ketsup! we learned that tigers are orange and colored a tiger and made tiger masks. For snack we had oranges and goldfish crackers.

RED

Today we learned more about the color RED! We had a special guest read to us today. A red fox! He read us "Fox in Sox" and all the kids got a turn trying to make him talk. We also read "Apple Countdown" We painted with red apples and colored a red barn. For snack we had tomatoes, red apples, and licorice. We ended the day with a balloon party! They loved running around trying to keep the balloons from touching the ground!

First Day!

We had a great first day! Only a few tears :) Today we read the books "The Grouchy Ladybug" and "Clifford Goes to Lunch" Everything was all about RED!! We ate strawberries & red shark snacks. We colored a lady bug and then the kids got to make their own! It is so fun to see them learning already!
